After completing her medical degree in 2001, Dr. Bindiya Sethi embarked on a journey that combines a passion for public health with extensive medical training. She initially contributed to a pilot project by the World Health Organization (WHO) at a university medical college and hospital. Seeking to broaden her expertise, Dr. Sethi moved to Australia to begin her General Practice training with Monash Health and Peninsula Health.
Dr. Sethi further specialised in children’s health, earning advanced training from Westmead Hospital in Sydney. She also holds a certificate in Health Economics and Policy from the prestigious London School of Economics. Her commitment to the medical community is evident through her service as a council member and Deputy Chair of the RACGP Victoria Faculty. Additionally, she is a council member of MacRobertson Girls’ High School and a board member of a migrant and refugee health center.
Dr. Sethi is skilled in fitting and removing intrauterine devices (IUDs) and Implanon, and she is also qualified to train and supervise other healthcare practitioners in these procedures.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sethi enjoys an active lifestyle. She loves playing badminton and basketball with her daughters and often rides bicycles with her partner. Dr. Sethi also finds solace in meditation and cherishes her time with close friends.
